Marc has been Concept President of O’Charley’s Inc. since September 16, 2011. Previously he has served as CEO of Kona Grill Inc., and CEO of LS Management, Inc., the owner and operator of the Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon/Texas Land and Cattle Steak House restaurant concepts, as well as Lone Star Business Solutions, an external accounting, IT and HR provider. Marc also served as President & CEO of Tony Romas’s.
Marc started his career in marketing, as a franchise marketing manager for Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, and later as VP of Marketing for Eateries Inc, where he was responsible for advertising, menu development, product research and development, consumer research and support. He holds a B.S.in Business Administration and a M.S. in Journalism, Advertising Management and Broadcast Management from the University of Kansas.
Marc is a passionate supporter of Share Our Strength, a member of the Dine Out for No Kid Hungry Board, past chair of the MEG (Marketing Executives Group of the National Restaurant Association), and is a member of the Advisory Board for People Report & Black Box Intelligence.
